I am Daniel Oucho A lias Dellah , a Biomedical Engineering graduate Await, youth leader, advocate, and creative professional passionate about healthcare, leadership, innovation, and community empowerment. Born and raised in Kakamega County, my journey has been shaped by humility, resilience, faith, and the desire to create meaningful impact in society.
My educational journey took me through different schools before completing my KCPE at Cornerstone Mission School and later joining Musingu High School, where I actively participated in leadership, science activities, Christian Union, sports, and student programs. Have pursued Biomedical Engineering at the Technical University of Mombasa (TUM), where I have gained both academic and practical exposure in healthcare technology and medical engineering systems.
During my time at the university, I served in different leadership capacities including as the TUMSA Congress Clerk, student leader, and Founder of the Medical Engineering Students Association (MESA). These roles helped me grow in leadership, governance, communication, teamwork, and representation while working closely with students and institutional structures.
Beyond campus leadership, I am actively involved in youth advocacy and community engagement. I serve as a Youth Advocate and also work with the CS Health docket under the Mombasa Youth Council, where I participate in programs focused on youth empowerment, healthcare awareness, leadership, and community development. I am also a member of CEFRESA CBO and serve as the Media Director at Young Patriotic Lieutenants CBO.
Professionally, I gained practical experience during my industrial attachment at Premier Hospital, Mombasa, where I worked with biomedical equipment, medical gas systems, autoclaves, preventive maintenance, and hospital technical support systems within a Level 5/6 healthcare environment.
I believe leadership is about service, growth, responsibility, and creating opportunities that inspire others. Through this platform, I share my journey, experiences, projects, and vision while continuing to grow in healthcare, leadership, innovation, and community impact. My story is a reminder to young people that humble beginnings should never limit big dreams and purposeful vision.
